From January 15th to 31st 2012, Foodies and those who wish to begin their journey into the world of haute cuisine will have the opportunity to enjoy a two-course lunch for $ 17.95 and a three-course dinner for $ 34.95. Of the more than100 restaurants, some of the highly acclaimed restaurants are recommended in the Red Michelin Guide of San Francisco. Likewise, not all of the restaurants recommended by the 2012 Michelin offering prix fixe menus during San Francisco Dine about town.
Gourmet diners about town will take unique occasion to lunch or dine at Michelin’s 1-star or Bibs. The city’s noteworthy restaurants range from contemporary cuisine with oriental flavors to traditional French preparations. Here’s a few picks that we think you’ll enjoy.
Strong Flavors If you are looking for an Indian restaurant try One-Star Campton Place, where the cuisine of Chef Drijith Gopinathan’s will delight you, a stone throw from Union Square. For more classical cuisine from India try Dosa on Filmore, a bib awarded restaurant.
Light Flavors For those who palettes lead them toward lighter flavors, the market fresh cuisine of the 1-Star Luce at the hotel Intercontinental on Howard Street. Do not miss lunch in a modern brasserie style setting at One Market Place, across from the Farmer’s Market, proudly boasting a well deserved Michelin Star. The other 1-Star, Spruce is located in Presidio Heights and what we consider “Worth the Extra Mile” for its take on American cuisine.
