Spotlight on Milan’s Landmark Prada Store
Places not to miss in Milan Italy

Prada Store in Milan, Italy

While taking a stroll through the Centro Moda neighborhood of Milan, Italy, you’ll find the original landmark Prada store located right in the center arcade of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. The original façade has been carefully maintained. The steamer trunks displayed in the windows suggest many secret tales that will never leave the landmark’s walls. The store décor is complete with dark wood fittings dating back to 1913.

Interestingly enough, the store is located in the world’s first shopping mall, which presaged the great fortune this family brand was to achieve. When Mario Prada first moved into this four-story, glass-domed atrium, he was selling fine walrus-leather trunks, suitcases and leather specialty items to the local Italian elite.
