New York's Finest Hotels in the Best Locations
Have a lovely stay at one of our selected Hotels in New York

Everyone has their own reasons for visiting the city that never sleeps. When selecting a hotel, we think it’s wise to stay near the places that are highest on your “to see” list.

Here are our picks:

If you are a first-time visitor or have a passion for modern art, the Four Seasons Hotel) is probably number one on your list. The St. Regis Hotel and The London Nyc offer two different kinds of comfort. The St. Regis is classically grand and full of New York history, while the London offers modern, sensible accommodations.

If you prefer to mix modern and classical art you’ll probably prefer heading to the Upper East Side for the Metropolitan Museum Of Art, the Guggenheim Museum, and the many other temples of art found on Museum Row. The Mark and The Carlyle hotels will make sure you are well cared for, and you'll be just a few blocks away from the museums—and some great shopping, too.

The antiques boutiques on the Upper East Side have exquisite pieces, and The Lowell is well located for store hopping. A discreet hotel, with 70 keys that span 17 stories, has perfect service and two excellent restaurants, the Pembroke Room and the Post House, which would be enough to make it one of our favorite hotels in Manhattan. But then there is also its location, location, location ...Two blocks from Barneys, three from Bergdorf Goodman. The perfect place to drop those so heavy shopping bags when you are power shopping on Madison Avenue.

If you love luxury brands and grandeur, you'll find your head rests well uptown. Four Seasons Hotel, The Four Seasons, and 252, are perfectly situated for those shopping bag drop-offs. They will keep you near and dear to your favorite meccas, and during your shopping breaks you can indulge in superior service and spa treatments. If fashion discovery is something that excites you, then head downtown to 137,, where you can explore the streets of the Meatpacking District; or try the Hotel Gansevoort,297, where you'll be a short walk from the shops in NoLIta.

If food is your thing, then we would say there is a big decision to make. The finest restaurants downtown are smaller and a bit less formal than those found uptown. For inventive dishes in discreet environments, stay downtown at the Hotel Gansevoortor 202 If wearing a suit is like a second skin, a stay uptown at The Four Seasons will put you in the thick of some of Manhattan’s notable restaurants.
