If you are a first-time visitor to Paris France, or have a passion for art, the Musee du Louvre is probably number one on your list. Hotel Du Louvre and Hotel Regina are perfectly located across the street from the Louvre on rue de Rivoli. Ask for one of the rooms facing the street and you can take in a view of the Louvre.

The streets of the Left Bank are lined with antique stores and galleries. Hotel Montalembert and Hotel Lenox Saint-germain are just steps away from any store in the Carre Rive Gauche (120 Antique Stores) that you're looking for. For ten consecutive shopping blocks of trendy, traditional, and designer clothing boutiques, look no further than the renowned rue du Faubourg St-Honoré. Hotel Costes is located in the center of all the shopping on rue St- Honoré. You might also consider the Ritz and the Park Hyatt Paris-vendome which are perfectly situated near Place Vendôme for those heavy shopping bag drop-offs.

Just off the Champs-Elysées lie the Hotel Plaza Athenee, complete with a three-star restaurant by Alain Ducasse, and the very Parisian Le Relais Plaza. Behind the hotel is Le Stresa, a perfect Italian restaurant.  For cured meat indulgers there’s always Jabugo Iberico & Co. for a delicious counter lunch of pate negra ham, salad and wine. To the immediate right is Maison Blanche, which has breathtaking views of the rooftops of Paris.
